Tina Stoffel MSC/LAC
A native to Arizona, Tina Stoffel attended the University of Arizona for her undergraduate degree in family studies and human development. She earned her Master of Science in community counseling from University of Phoenix and started her career in social work in 2000, working with various populations and community needs. She began practicing in 2012, when she became a licensed associate counselor (LAC).
In her role as outpatient therapist, Stoffel facilitates a women’s outpatient group designed to meet their unique needs. She creates a safe and inviting environment for openness to foster growth through vulnerability, and she uses various therapeutic interventions from areas such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, expressive arts therapy and Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT).
Stoffel’s primary areas of focus are co-occurring disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, women’s issues and substance abuse.
