Treatment isn’t one size fits all. Unique individuals with differing needs call for a variety of treatment levels. Working together, our team of experts assesses each patient to determine the appropriate evidence-based, solutions-focused treatment needed, including both inpatient and outpatient options. Outpatient Treatment
Outpatient treatment is a less-structured but intensive therapeutic program designed to support recovery in those who do not require full-time hospitalization or residential care. The convenient schedule allows individuals to get treatment without disruption to work or family commitments. Administered by caring health professionals who specialize in a wide range of mental health services, outpatient treatment includes the following levels of care:
Women’s Program
Here at Valley Hospital, we understand that women face mental health issues uniquely their own. That’s why we were the first in the Phoenix area to create a specialized treatment program to help women find hope and healing. From reproductive realities like postpartum depression, anxiety related to infertility or loss of pregnancy to other anxiety or obsessive disorders, trauma and relationship issues, our team of compassionate experts empower women to understand the emotional wounds that trigger these issues and develop the coping skills necessary to regain command of their lives.
Men’s Program
Our specialized Men’s Program provides a supportive and therapeutic environment tailored to the unique needs of men in recovery. Key features of the program include:
- Stephanie Covington Curriculum: Evidence-based programming that addresses issues specific to men
- All-Male Process Therapy Groups: Facilitated by experienced therapists, these groups provide a safe space for open dialogue, peer support and personal growth
- MART Groups: Engaging sessions incorporating Music, Art and Recreation Therapy to foster creativity, emotional expression and connection
- Welcoming Environment: A unique opportunity to work alongside peers in a supportive and secure setting that promotes healing and camaraderie
- Psychoeducational groups
- Experiential Therapies: outdoor activities, mindfulness exercises and movement-based therapies
