Julie Miller is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Phoenix, AZ. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a masters degree in clinical psychology. She has worked in the behavioral health field for 27 years. She has grown from clinician into leadership and is currently the Group CEO for Valley Hospital and Quail Run Behavioral Health. She has worked with all populations in behavioral health, specializing in high acuity and seriously mentally ill adults. Over the years she has provided clinical supervision for professional licensure and has provided training in many topics including understanding and treating mental illness, post crisis discharge planning and community engagement.
Andrea Raby, DO

Andrea Raby
Dr. Andrea Raby is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) and diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in General Psychiatry. She completed her undergraduate degree in psychology and chemistry at Arizona State University and was also a member of their Honors College. Dr. Raby attended medical school at The University of North Texas Health & Science Center and ultimately completed her residency at Maricopa Integrated Health. She has extensive clinical experience in community psychiatry including emergency psychiatry and working with the seriously mentally ill in an outpatient setting.
For more than 10 years, Dr. Raby also provided forensic evaluations for the acutely ill, including potential court testimonies for those on court ordered evaluations. She now brings her expertise to the private sector, as part of multidisciplinary team working with both the private population and balancing this with the SMI population.
Safdar Ali, MD

Safdar Ali
Dr. Safdar Ali completed his medical education in a prestigious medical school in Pakistan. He entered in a psychiatry residency training program at State University of New York in Syracuse, New York. Along with completion of his training, he also served two years as a chief resident.
Dr. Ali has special interest in understanding and helping his patients who suffer from mental illness and different kinds of addiction. He entered into the fellowship program in addiction psychiatry in Boston, at Massachusetts General Hospital as part of the Harvard program. Since then, he has been serving at the Valley of the Sun as a staff Psychiatrist for more than two decades. Dr. Ali has also served as a staff psychiatrist and chief psychiatrist at the Meadows in Wickenburg, Arizona. Currently, Dr. Ali is our staff psychiatrist here at Valley Hospital. He is a strong proponent of the psychopharmacological approach. He also strongly believes in addressing other issues including trauma/PTSD, relationships/family issues and abandonment issues.

Dr. Mehmud Ahmed is a board-certified psychiatrist currently providing comprehensive psychiatric care at Via Linda Hospital and Valley Hospital. He brings extensive experience across inpatient, outpatient and consultation-liaison psychiatry, with a strong focus on compassionate, evidence-based treatment.
Dr. Ahmed is actively involved in medical education and has taught and mentored medical students from Midwestern University and Creighton University. He is dedicated to collaboration, professionalism and the training of future physicians committed to high-quality patient care.
Ehab Abdallah, MD

Ehab Abdallah
Dr. Ehab Abdallah earned his medical degree from Alexandria University in Alexandria, Egypt. He completed his residency training in psychiatry at West Virginia University and he is board certified in general psychiatry, consultation liaison (psychosomatic) psychiatry and addiction medicine.
An expert in addiction medicine, Dr. Abdallah is also experienced in treating psychiatric illness for those with complex medical and psychiatric conditions. Dr. Abdallah is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry with the University of Arizona where he teaches medical students and residents.
Melissa Ramirez, MD

Dr. Melissa Ramirez is board-certified in adult, child and adolescent psychiatry. She provides inpatient and outpatient care for children and adults, utilizing thorough evaluations and a caring, sensitive approach to treatment. She also has expertise in treating Filipino families. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in psychology, with a minor in biology, from the University of Texas at Austin, she earned her medical degree at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Philippines. Dr. Ramirez then completed one-year internship at Makati Medical Center, also in Manila.Dr. Ramirez completed her General Psychiatry residency at Maricopa Integrated Health System, then adding a fellowship for child and adolescent psychiatry. Committed to providing the best care possible to her patients, Dr. Ramirez’s passion about her field is evident in her dedication to improve the quality of life of patients dealing with a variety of mental health issues in different populations.
David Fife, DO

David Fife
Dr. David Fife attended Kirkville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri, followed by a residency at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix. Dr. Fife is a board-certified psychiatrist from the American Board of Psychiatry and the American Board of Psychiatry for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is also on staff at District Medical Group.
Sami Victor, MD

Dr. Sami Victor is a board-certified psychiatrist from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He holds medical licenses in both Arizona and Texas, having completed his doctor of medicine degree at St. Matthews University School of Medicine and his residency training at Maricopa Integrated Health System. Dr. Victor was awarded the Bob St. John Award for 2011 to 2012. He presented research on the topic “Voluntariness to Consent to Research in a Voluntary and Involuntarily Hospitalized Psychiatric Population” at national conferences, with his research also published in the Journal of Empirical Research on Human Research Ethics. Dr. Victor is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and the Arizona Psychiatric Society where he held a position on the ethics committee.
Lauren Bonner, MD

Lauren Bonner
Dr. Lauren Bonner received her medical degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and graduated with honors. She is double board certified in Psychiatry and Geriatric Psychiatry. She has extensive experience in patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings. She has provided care to patients in academic, public and private health care sectors. Dr. Bonner has participated in patient centered research in the fields of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Alcohol Use Disorder, Alzheimer’s Disease/Dementia and Schizophrenia. She was the recipient of a grant from the National Institute of Health to research a treatment for agitation in Alzheimer’s Disease. She was chosen to present her research at the International Alzheimer’s Disease Scientific Meeting in Stolkholm, Sweden. She completed her fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at the University of Washington School of Medicine. She completed the Duke University Medical Center Visiting Fellowship in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation. She has written and coauthored a number of journal articles that have been published in peer reviewed journals including Neurology and Academic Psychiatry. She has also coauthored book chapters in publications such as the Medical Clinics of North America and the Textbook of Geriatric Psychiatry. Dr. Bonner’s academic and patient care excellence has been recognized by her election ot the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and her recognition as a Leonard Weisskopf Scholar. Dr. Bonner has extensive experience in the care of patients with Mood Disorders, Trauma Spectrum Disorders such as PTSD, Psychotic Disorders, Substance Use Disorders, ADHD, Alzheimer’s Disease and other Dementias and Women’s Mental Health Issues.
